Nany

Besides getting to see all four grandparents on a regular basis, my babies are blessed to have a beautiful relationship with Nany, my grandmother, their great grandmother. She is sharp as a tack and funny, too. Recently, her body has begun to show its nearly 97 years. It makes her crazy to think she has to walk with the assistance of a walker. Up until about 2 years ago, she was walking, sometimes with a cane but mostly unassisted, a few blocks to church and back each morning. She is infamous for shoveling snow for her elderly neighbor. (Nany was in her 80's at the time and her neighbor a mere 70, but the neighbor couldn't do it so Nany did.)
