Anyone who knows me knows that I have a bit of a sarcastic side. Hmm. I wonder where it comes from? Not my Mom's family, right? This is what my Mom and her siblings did when I asked them to pose for a photo with their mother.
Eventually they all decided to listen and act like adults.
Then spouses were asked to join the pose. (I intended to photo-shop in the missing uncle, but haven't had time.) I will spare you the silly photos. All I will say is that there was lots of lap-sitting and ear-tickling. Such juveniles!! Tee Hee.

This was the best we could do for getting the grandchildren and great grandchildren in the same room at the same time. We are missing two granddaughters and two grandsons-in-law. Not bad. (Are we the only family where when the kids eventually look somewhere near the camera, the adults are looking away??)
Doesn't everyone go get doughnuts from a world-famous doughnut shop dressed in their super hero capes? FYI - they weren't the only ones!
Reason #597 why I love this man: he is patient enough to try to teach his kids to fly a kite.
Did I mention that the kite has two handles and is difficult for adults to maneuver?
Didn't complain once when I requested a road trip to the beach in lieu of a trip to the golf course. Not. One. Negative. Word.
