We Partied with Chuck E (Again)

Before heading out of town over Easter weekend, we celebrated B's 6th birthday with a few of his friends from school. He loves arcade games right now, especially the kind that spit out tickets and allow you to purchase prizes, so we headed back to Chuck E. Cheese.

This photo was actually a case of mistaken camera settings, but it fit the feeling of the day - crazy chaos all around with a big smiling boy smack dab in the middle of it all.

Adorable...(I am not biased or anything)

We were helping celebrate Little L's 2nd Birthday. She was so cute telling all of us that she is now "Twoooooo". Photo credit goes to her amazing Mama. Thanks, K, for sharing these photos.

Happy Birthday B!

We gathered some friends and family at a local bowling alley to celebrate B's big day. With LOTS of help from parents and grandparents, the kids all seemed to enjoy their time bowling and playing in the arcade.

I tried to get B to pose with all of his friends who joined us.

B recently declared that "F" (in pink) is his girlfriend. Since the declaration came out of the blue and was accompanied by an extra pink glow in his cheeks, I think he meant he likes her more than just being a girl who is his friend. I am not sure she knows that she is his girlfriend. She is very sweet to him, but I don't know that those kinds of feelings are mutual. Oh well. As long as she continues to treat him with such kindness, it is hard to complain about the arrangement!

I am not sure what these two ladies were up to, but they were having a great time!

In all of the rush to celebrate, we didn't stop and take any photos of the four of us together. The closest we got was when T & I delivered treats to B's class the following day.

A King, a Jester and a Dragon

What do you do when you are a 4 year old boy and you are invited to a princess party (royal attire requested)?  Well,  you dress as a King, a Jester or a Dragon, of course. I was happy to have another reason for him to sport his Easter clothes, so we added a crown and voila! There were two other boys and they were dressed, you guessed it, as a Jester and a Dragon! Adorable.

Serious kudos to the host King & Queen for the fabulous party. Love the refrigerator box castle, the treasure hunt, the tiara making, etc. Way more creative than I can fathom.
