When our plane showed up at the gate on 12/31, I couldn't help but smile. Nearly every passenger who got off the plane had on some kind of UO gear. The airport in Portland was also packed with smiling fans preparing for trips south to watch the big game. Since the Civil War game in early December, the kids have been chanting, "Go Ducks" on a regular basis. You know, "Happy Birthday, Mamama. Go Ducks!" "Merry Christmas, Go Ducks!" "Happy New Year, Go Ducks!" With a family full of Oregon State fans, I need to recruit them young! Unfortunately, Ohio prevailed, but I still LOVE MY DUCKS!
