Big Truck Day

This is a week late in making it to the blog. I've been a bit busy. (See last post).

Our local park & recreation district has an annual event that brings HUGE trucks and other vehicles together in a parking lot so the local kids can all climb in them, honk the horns, open the windows, etc. This is our second year and once again, B loved it. I will say that there are as many excited parents as there are kids. Fire trucks, recycling trucks, snow plows, "the largest tow truck on the west coast", the Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile, TV station satellite trucks. G got to hang out and watch - which made her happy, too. She like wearing her brother's hard hat. We went early because we were experiencing 100 degree weather and it looked like every other local family had the same idea.
